Fatal Animal Attack Claims Belgian Tourist at Zihuatanejo, Mexico’s Pacific Coast Resort
A tragic incident occurred on Thursday at Mexico’s Pacific coast resort of Zihuatanejo, where a Belgian tourist lost their life in an attack, reportedly by either a shark or a crocodile, according to officials.
In the southern state of Guerrero, the civil defense office disclosed that a man and a woman sustained leg injuries from an unidentified animal’s bites.
Regrettably, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the woman was swiftly transported to a hospital for treatment. State authorities confirmed the deceased individual hailed from Belgium, whereas the nationality of the injured woman remains unspecified at this time.
